Linnea BurMAN

Linnea is the vice president and general manager of the Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies business at Medtronic plc, and leads strategy and business development for the Restorative Therapies Group. She was previously US Director of Marketing for Pain Stimulation & Targeted Drug Delivery and Global Director of Marketing for Targeted Drug Delivery.  

Linnea has been recognized with the Wallin Leadership Award, Field Partnership Award and the Neuro Value Proposition Award.

Prior to Medtronic, Linnea held several positions in public relations at Marriott International in Washington, D.C., and LaBreche Public Relations and Carlson Companies in Minneapolis.  Linnea received her BA in Communication Studies from Virginia Tech.  

Other Affiliations

Linnea is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association for Continence, and on the Research Board for the American Society for Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is a member of the Board of Governors for the Children’s Theatre Company, where she participates on the Executive Committee and chairs the New Business Initiatives committee. She founded the MN Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and serves on the Executive Committee as Communications Chair.

Personal

Linnea and her husband Mark have two children, Collin and Annika, and reside in Hopkins, MN.
