STAY STRONG CLASS: Balance & Strength From The Inside Out

Join us as we learn about the pelvic floor and how it changes as women experience menopause.  This class will discuss common problems that women can experience with their pelvic floor (such as leakage, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse), and focuses on a more holistic way to address, and even prevent, these problems. 

Melissa Cathcart, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist (2001) and homebirth midwife (1991) who offers manual therapies and acupuncture to treat patients with pelvic floor disorders. An MVA in 2006 catapulted her into the worlds of trauma recovery and pelvic floor disorders. You can read her story on her website www.mcathcart.com. She has been teaching her Bladder & Pelvic Floor Health class since it was first launched at a national midwifery conference in 2009.
