Join us for a FREE Pelvic Floor Strengthening Class! This class will give you an overview of your pelvic floor anatomy, talk about potential problems you may face in regards to the pelvic floor, and review why it's important to keep the pelvic floor healthy strong.

STAY STRONG Class at Gastroenterology Associates of Western Michigan, PLC

Join us as we learn about the pelvic floor and how it changes as women experience menopause.  This class will discuss common problems that women can experience with their pelvic floor (such as leakage, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse), and focuses on a more holistic way to address, and even prevent, these problems. 

The class will be held in the lobby of our 2nd floor office. You do not need to sign-up to attend. However those who sign-up in advance will be will be entered into a $100 drawing. To sign-up, leave a message with your name, date of birth, and phone number at 616-328-5355. Those who call by 5:30pm on the date of the even will be entered into the drawing and must be present at the class to redeem their winnings.

BE STRONG CLASS @ On The Path Yoga

This workshop will be offered free of charge during National Bladder Health Awareness Month to facilitate a better understanding of simple, natural means to keep your bladder, pelvic floor, hips, and lower GI tract healthier and better functioning. If you suffer from any of the “I’s” of the bladder: incontinence, irritation, or infection—this workshop is a great opportunity to take a step toward healing! All are welcome, no pre-registration needed. Included in the workshop will be informational handouts, simple movement and lifestyle change suggestions, and time for an open question and answer session. Participants will also receive a special offer to come in for a personal Whole Body Alignment and Gait Analysis with Sandy and a list of other resources available in the area that offer pelvic floor education and services. 

Class will be led by:  Sandy Parker, BS, CPT, Health Educator, Yoga Instructor, Restorative Exercise SpecialistTM, and Whole Body Alignment Consultant
