National Association for Continence Names New Communications and Public Relations Staff Member

Pam Knox, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, started with NAFC on December 1, 2008, as its Communications and Public Relations Associate. Ms. Knox was previously the Manager of Communications for the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation.

December 11, 2008 (Charleston, South Carolina) – The National Association For Continence (NAFC) announced that Pam Knox joined its staff December 1, 2008, as the Communications and Public Relations Associate. Ms. Knox will be responsible for all publicity and media relations, marketing and promotion of NAFC’s publications and services, and communications with consumers aimed at growing support from the public for NAFC’s mission.

Prior to coming to NAFC, Ms. Knox was the Manager of Communications for the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation (OTPF) in Columbus, Ohio. A quasi-state agency, OTPF was charged with reducing tobacco use among Ohioans and funded an award-winning counter-marketing campaign primarily aimed at preventing youth tobacco initiation. Ms. Knox also has several years of executive-level administrative support experience in large healthcare systems, including ProMedica Health System in northwest Ohio. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, with a B.S. in Marketing. She and her husband recently relocated to the Charleston area from Ohio.
