January 31, 2007 (Charleston, SC) – Intended for women of all ages, the seminar will cover new technology in bladder and pelvic healthcare, vaginal health, skin care and incontinence, and pelvic health.

Speakers will include Lynette E. Franklin, MSN, RN, CWOCN, Nancy Muller, Ross A. Rames, MD, Eric S. Rovner, MD, and Steven E. Swift, MD.

Ms. Franklin is a clinical nurse specialist with training in wound, ostomy and continence nursing. She is also the urology continence coordinator for the MUSC Department of Urology.

Ms. Muller is the Executive Director for NAFC and has led the organization since 2000. Her involvement with NAFC began in 1996 as a member of the Board of Directors. Since then she has been the driving force behind the success of NAFC and its broadened mission.

Dr. Rames holds the position of Associate Professor at the MUSC Department of Urology. He teaches and practices at MUSC while maintaining a private practice at Carolina Specialty Care. His primary areas of interest are incontinence, voiding dysfunctions, and urodynamics with a specialization in female urology/reconstruction.

Dr. Rovner, Associate Professor at the MUSC Department of Urology, heads the section of voiding dysfunction, female urology and urodynamics. He has a highly specialized clinical practice within urology, concentrating on urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, urinary fistulae, and neurogenic bladder dysfunction.

Dr. Swift is an Associate Professor at the MUSC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He practices obstetrics and gynecology and urogynecology at MUSC. Dr. Swift primarily focuses on patients with urinary and fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
