BRIDGES Study for Overactive Bladder

The BRIDGES Study is a multi-center research study comparing fesoterodine (Toviaz), an FDA approved medication, to placebo in women diagnosed with urgency urinary incontinence and overactive bladder by the 3 Incontinence Questions (3IQ). Approximately 636 women, at 13 clinical sites across the United States, will receive 12 weeks of fesoterodine or matching placebo. Women who complete the 12-week study will be offered open-label fesoterodine (Toviaz) for an additional 9 months.

If you are a healthy woman, age 18 or older, and experience urinary leakage daily, on average, you may qualify to participate in the BRIDGES Study. To see if you qualify for the study, please contact the clinical site in your area. The clinical sites currently recruiting for BRIDGES are:
